Art and Soup is an annual event that raises money for hospice services in and around the Salt Lake City area. When you go, you will find dozens of vendors that give out samples of soups, breads and desserts and many artists selling their artwork. Each artist donates 30% of their sales to the cause. The first night was the opening gala where a full dinner and desserts are served. Jeremy and Larry each did a "quick draw" opening night which is where they paint a small painting in an hour and then it gets auctioned off live. Here are some highlights from the night:

Every artist loves to be put on the spot and be expected to create a masterpiece in an hour, right?! |

Here are some of the sweet treats from the evening. Everything was so pretty, you almost didn't want to eat it....but we did, and it was delicious! |

One thing to always watch for at Art & Soup is their amazing ice sculpture. A new, creative masterpiece each year! |

The artists talk about their "Quick Draws" on stage before they are auctioned off. See the portrait on stage? It was created by Larry in remembrance of Dr. Nameer Qader, a member of the CNS Board of Trustees that passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. His widow accepted this gift earlier that night. |
If you didn't have a chance to come see us at Art & Soup this year, be sure to join us in 2015, it's a lot of fun!
