Murals in Downtown Logan

Last fall, we shared with you a few images from our photo shoot at The American West Heritage Center. At the time, I couldn't share what the images were for or what they would be.  Shrouded in mystery, I know!  But, the time has come (since the city of Logan has approved it, yay!) to share what we're doing!

The building on 22 East Center is being entirely renovated by our colleague and friend, Andrea McCulloch of Milieu Designs.  On the side of the building, she has planned a 25'x25' canvas mural that will be rotated out every few months.  The first painting, Baby Steps, will be done by Jeremy and it will be a painting of a baby (Yep! OUR cute baby Viggo!) taking his first steps!:)

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from that day!

It's not always easy keeping a 1 year old happy during a long photo shoot! The pictures don't show it, but it was actually quite cold and we would bundle up that little cutie in a pioneer blanket between takes.  We had such a fun time working together on this as a family.  In fact, around the corner (which you can't see in this photo) our little girls were holding a bounce card to help light up the scene.  Talk about a family effort!

As of right now, we're not sure exactly when the mural will be put up.  Jeremy is still working on creating the original painting that the mural will be made from.  I'll let you know when I find out anything and keep you updated. Until then, join us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram let us know what you think of this exciting new adventure!
